Baoku have over 17 years of training, researching and performing experience in the field of African performing arts and Afro-beat music. He is a highly-trained African drummer, actor and dancer. He also have extensive experience and talents as a singer, songwriter, and band leader. Baoku founded The Image Afro-beat Band in 2005, BE4Peace in 2010 and Positive Image Arts in 2011. In 2004, he released his first album: Okodoro Oro "The Realistic Reality"

The Image Afro-Beat Band is a unique, dynamic and energetic band. Founded in 2005 by front-man Baoku Moses. This Cincinnati based band is comprised of talented musicians who come from a world-wide influence of music and cultural backgrounds. Consisting of up to 10 members at a time, the band is able to calibrate their own unique sound by allowing all their influences to play out in their own distinctive style of music known as Afro-Beat.

BE4Peace is a contemporary multi-cultural experience, blending traditional Nigerian percussion with free-flowing improvisation over powerful beats. BE4Peace takes the elements of Afro-Beat to the root of African (Nigerian) rhythm and American jazz for an experience of music that is immediate and traditional. Our core belief: "When there is unity in music, there is peace on the street".
